3 October: “Sept, les anges de Sinjar” – A Fusion of Myth, Movement & Music

On October 3rd, 2025, the Saint-Maur Theater in Paris hosted “Sept, les anges de Sinjar” (Seven, the Angels of Sinjar), a mesmerizing ModComFest 2025 concert co-composed by Michel Petrossian and Aram Hovhannisyan. Performed by the Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain under Bruno Mantovani with dancers from the Hallet-Eghayan Company, the work reimagined the Yazidi creation myth in reverse, blending ancient legend and contemporary art in a powerful, immersive experience.
