World Premiere of Michel Petrossian’s Spenta Mainyu at Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo

On 13 March 2026 at 19:30, the 41st Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo presented La Grande Battle at the Musée Océanographique in Monaco, featuring a diverse and imaginative programme performed by Ensemble I Gemelli. Among the highlights was the world premiere of Spenta Mainyu, a new work by renowned composer Michel Petrossian for modern oboe.
The evening juxtaposed this contemporary creation with vocal and instrumental music spanning from virtual oboe explorations to baroque opera airs and Vivaldi’s timeless concertos, creating a vibrant dialogue between old and new musical worlds.
